We took took a national campaign by TD Bank local and spearheaded a 5-borough tour celebrating community gardens.
TD Bank’s national Rooted In campaign needed a human-centric approach on local levels. Our insights showed that in New York City, green spaces are vital to the environment and the places we live. Each space has its own story and its own heroes. By connecting with local communities and amplifying their successes, we could create positive lasting memories between TD Bank and these communities’ leaders.
Our iteration of Rooted In was all about bringing awareness and help to NYC parks through various methods: tree paintings, charitable donations, community outreach. To help TD Bank celebrate those who inspire us and make an impact in our communities, Mirrorball created, planned and executed events across all of New York City’s 5 boroughs to discover and connect with local stories in communities. Our 5 unique and family-friendly activations aimed to engage and inspire connection. Activities included Mini-golf, Identify the Scent, Plinko for the Parks, sustainable vegetarian cooking and a Tea Stand that used local ingredients found in parks.
Campaigns were also held for each park, with funding going towards specific legacy projects, like the South Brooklyn Children’s Garden.
